I left Indio today and headed back to Tehachapi for a couple of reasons; I have a line on a good web-based project and need to get the preliminary meetings done, a friend of mine is moving and needs some help getting her new house in shape, and I need to rethink some of my storage strategies. So I sort of just went on a shakedown cruise.

The bonus is I got back to Tehachapi just before a big storm hit. It was verry windy, but dry all the way.

I changed up the route a bit, going for the shortest route even though it included getting to Tehachapi the ‘back’ way. Thought I see about steep grades, the moho, and the car in tow. As long as I’m not in a hurry, no problem.
