Ok, so one of the things folks told me I should ‘do’ was Quartzsite. I knew it was flea market/swap meetish, and big, and crowded, but I thought it was RV oriented. I was wrong. Typical swap meet/flea market stuff, maybe a few more handmade and craft type vendors, but the overall impression it left me with was that I looked at lots and lots of cheap imported tools and doodads. Lots of it seemingly from the same container ship hold.

The few RV related businesses in town I wanted to talk to (solar, satellite/internet, and day/night shades) were absolutely swamped and really didn’t have time for questions. People sure did seem to buying, though. Maybe the economy really is improving…

As for eating; I had a medium bag of kettle corn, a cinnamon roll, and a pulled-pork sandwich.

I headed back to Salome, did some grocery shopping and gave the inside of the moho a good cleaning, then went for an 8 mile bike ride amongst the rocks and cactus north the RV park. Great way to wind up the day.
