			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I spent some time hiking around the <a href="http://www.livingdesert.org/" target="_blank">Living Desert </a>in Palm Desert. I didn&#8217;t care much for the animal exhibits, since I grew up in San Diego the San Diego Zoo is the standard against which all other zoos are measured, but I did enjoy the microclimate desert exhibits and doing some hiking in their back country area.</p>
